Lemme think... I really don't have anything freaky to talk about. So I'll just wish everyone happy 4th of July.
OK nevermind. I was thinking about how we [in America] as a society idolize abnormality. Not positive abnormality, I mean like the celebrities who have family troubles, or drug problems, etc. I don't see the purpose of making fun, or putting on blast these people who are seriously f-ed up. Like with Britney Spears's breakdown period. People were constantly talking about her then and how she had 'drug problems' or how she was 'insane'. But realistically if any chick off the street was doing the stuff she did she would be locked the F up. AND she would lose all custody and visitation of her kids.
I mean come on let's be serious her 'celebrity status' saved her life. I have a feeling that the future of that whole family is not going to be too bright. And that's only coming from speculation according to the facts put out there. So back to idolizing abnormality, I think it is SICK and DISGUSTING to do that to people who really need help. When it comes to how to treat others I believe that you should treat other people with the respect you would give a family member.
Would you embarrass your brother or sister? If you would then that's sad.
